Have a 2008 Expedition with manual climate control. Second row seating has ceiling vents over their head. How in the world do I get air our of these round ceiling vents? My 2000 Expy had a control for floor/ceiling. The 2008 does not, at least not that I can find. And if not, and you can't send air to them, why would they be there on this model?

Try the button that says "rear" under the temperature indicators on the dash.

That button turns on rear functionality, but the air is coming out of the side vents behind the third row seats. I cant see how to send air to the ceiling vents.

Unless I misunderstood your question AND unless I'm wrong....................

warmer air or heat is designed to come out of the "side" vents and AC and/or somewhat less warm air is designed to come from overhead. At least that is what we have experienced with our 2008 Expedition (although it does have AUTO climate control)

I have a 2009 limited. On the back of the center console, there are two switches. when i turn the fan switch to the right, the upper vents come on in my truck. I also have the "rear on" button pressed in the front as well.

Thanks. Neither of these will cause air to come out of the ceiling vents, hot or cold. I'm truly stumped.
