2008 Navigator Front Bumper R/R

Anyone know how to remove the front bumper on a 08 Navigator? Do I only have to remove the screws in the wheel wells or are their hidden screws or other things I need to be mindful of? My wife put a dent in the bumber with limited paint damage and I want to remove the bumper and "knock" the dent out.

THX!

You'll have to climb under. Most bumpers are securely fastened with short bolts that you'll have to remove. If there's a lower plastic cover, you'll have to remove that first to access the bolts. The screws you see in the wheel wells are undoubtedly holding the wheel well liner on. You can remove these to make the bumper removal somewhat easier, but it won't drop the bumper. The bumper is installed to absorb a 5mph accident while transferring minimal stress to other parts of the vehicle (crumple zones). I'm guessing here that you should have 8-10 bolts securing the bumper in at least two different spots around the frame. You'll have to look.
