mad 2008 Torque Converter Broke

I had my 2008 Expedition for exactly two weeks and 1,189 miles when the Torque converter broke. My wife stopped by the dealership to get some stuff from the SUV and said they had the engine and transmission removed. Is replacing the torque converter a huge job and should I expect continued problems?

We are trying to get Ford and or the dealer to take the car back but I think it is a long shot. I hope they can't fix it for 30 days then I think it will be a lemon according to CT lemon laws.

Re: 2008 Torque Converter Broke

If it's just a torque converter, then why would they tell your wife to continue and expect problems?

I have an 07, so it's the same tranny. Please keep us informed.

Thanks.
