2009 Expedition sound - Ford Forums

Hello,

I had recently acquired a 2009 Expedition Limited with the sync system. I find the sound from the audio system to be very strange sounding. There is no midrange warmth. Voices seem very odd. I have never had a vehicle that sounds so strange. Could it be the DSP from the SYNC system?
Does anyone have any similar experiences with this truck?

I've never heard an 09's sound system but I know that the only speekers it has are midrange speakers so they should actually sound best in midrange. If you like your music sounding good, just get an afertmarket speaker system because most cars come with poor quality speakers from the factory.
