Put $3000. work into 97 EB expy just last month. Air ride solenoid was replaced, other problems fixed. Went to get into it and the back end was sitting on the wheels. Ford says it needs a new compressor (of course) Knew that. Also said that if we bought the shocks and struts, they would put them on for about the same price as fixing the compressor. Just would take another week to fix it by the time we ordered the parts, etc... Is this feasible, or am I messing up a lot of stuff by doing this? Are there any other options for this that would be a longer term fix? Have 157,000 miles and won't give up my truck!!!!

My recommendation would be to buy the coil spring suspension kits. Then you'll never have to worry about losing air pressure and all that jazz. Lots of sites sell the conversion kit. But, ultimately it's up to you.
