I'm wondering if it's possible to take out the two bucket seats and the middle console from my 1998 Navigator and replace it with a bench seat.

I realize I might need to weld new mounting bolts, but want to see if anyone has tried this. I don't know if Ford even makes a bench seat for the 98 Navi, but wondering if I can maybe get one from a salvage yard for a closer model Navi or Expedition.

Any ideas?

All of the vehicles from Ford I worked with had the same mounting point for ahy kind of seats. Just make sure you get the bolts and nuts that hold them in the donate rig. Here's a way to search for what you'd want. Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market
