My 99 sometimes has trouble starting. It turns over fine and has always started, but at times it seems it turns over a lot more than normal. I let it sit and in a few minutes try again and it starts. It only does this once in awhile. It never kills once running. Does not seem to matter if motor is cold or hot. Car is well kept, new plugs, wires, filters, has just turned 100K miles. I have put gas injector cleaner in at times. No codes show on computer reader.

Sometimes I can go several days or a week before it has the problem. Then it is OK for awhile.

Have you checked for spark and fuel when it doesn't start?

NO, I have not done that, which would point possibly to the problem area, however by the time and place it does it, I would need assistance to do that. It has fixed itself within a minute or two. I wish it would show a code, but no codes show as I keep the reader with me. I have the 4.6 L engine. The car is extremely clean and well kept. I was hoping someone else had this problem. The crazy thing is, it never quits once running, only hard starting but very intermittent. Next time I will wiggle the ignition switch and see if that is the problem.
