I usually have to do the 2 feet driving think so it won't stall, but after a few min's it runs ok for a while. but sometimes when I come to a stop, it stalls. (sometimes it doesn't).
any ideas? I would at least like to sound like I know what I'm talking about if I have to take it in.
That's the IAC valve, Idle Air Control. You can get one at an autoparts store for around $60 and replace it yourself with an 8mm wrench...it's just 2 screws and a little plug.
Sounds like a dealership price to me. I would replace the IAC valve. Fast, easy and only takes simple tools.
