My 99 Expedition EB 5.4 L gives off a radiator coolant smell. I never find any leakage, but over a 6 month period, the coolant reservoir drops. Any thoughts?
Check the heater hose directly over cylinders 3 & 4, this is a common point of coolant leak that eventually will cause a misfire and CEl. May not be enough leak to drip on the floor, but it might cake up on top of the coils, greenish scum.
