The ABS light came on the other day and nothing seems to be wrong with the ABS (that I could tell by slamming on the brakes, etc.). Is this a common problem? Is so, how to remedy?
Most cases a wheel speed sensor is the problem. When the light is on, the brakes will work normally but the ABS function is inop. If you go to Autozone they might be able to pull the codes to find what the problem is. They don't charge for the check.
