Re: assistance pls????

How many miles are on the truck? Sounds like you have a fuel pressure problem. Maybe try to reset it . In the 97's the switch is in the Front Passenger side kick panel. Do this problem happen, regardless of whether the truck is hot or cold?

The Expedition has 60000 miles on it, Yes this happins regardless whether or not the Expedition is hot or cold.I looked @ the reset and the button was still pushed in. Did i need to do any thing else with that? It gets worse when the a/c is on according to my wife.

Re: assistance pls????

Hey guys, well it wasn`t fuel pressure nor was it anything relating that. i took the expo in to the dealer and found out that there was a technical bulletin out for a vaccum line thats been known to crap out. Sure enough thats what it was. Its located on the back of the intake manifold. A tube, elbow and nipple type fitting. Also had a problem with the 4 wheel drive system. If your expo is making lots of clicking/whirlling noises during acceleration, besure to cycle your 4wd switch before you take it in. BEACH FORD tried taking me for 1700 dollars to investigate the problem they said was coming from the tranny. Just food for the brain fellas>>>>
