blowing fuses

Last week Expedition wouldn't go out of park. Had someone fix it. They took what I think they called it interlock out so it wouldn't do it again. Now I have no wipers and windows won't go down. Every time I put a fuse in to replace the burned out one it blows. He didn't know what was causing it. Is it by chance that the part he took out needs to be replaced with new one. Is that my problem? Thanks

Re: blowing fuses

I'd take it back and let them know what's happening. Maybe they created a short to ground with the wiring under the dash.

Re: blowing fuses

Some vehicles have two switches on the brake pedal. I think one is for cruise control 'release', the other is for the brake lights. It one of these are blown, it won't come out of park without the manual release. It may be worth checking .
