confused

I wonder if any one else has had this problem and if so how it was fixed?
My check engine light keeps coming on even after I took it in to the dealer and had it reset. I have tried resetting it myself by disconnecting the battery and the light goes out, but then comes right back on after about 50 miles of driving.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check engine light

I thought the light would go out after ten turns of the ignition key. I believe if it keeps comming on there is a recurring problem.

Good Luck Pat

roll Re: Check engine light

I have the same problem and disconnecting the battery for 30min works for about 3000 miles. Now the overdrive light flashes as well but will go out and not come on for awhile. The engine will start shifting alot as well. Looking for suggestions

Re: Check engine light

there are a bunch of sensors in an expedition, the light might come on because of many small things such as lack of an imaginable little lack of oxygen, oil, water, etc. very simple things you cant imagine.
