hey rtg,im a newbie on this site,but i just read a post you wrote on a guys tbird that had these same codes,would your answers be the same for a 2000 expedition? and i just recently started using 87 at the gas pump,would that cause a problem for me as well,always used 89 so should i switch back? (tommy)

Changing to 87 won't cause any problems, that's Fords reommendation anyway. When you get those codes together, it's usually a vacuum leak. There could be other problems but a vacuum leak is what causes most. Have you had it a long time? Has the fuel filter and PCV been replaced? How many miles are on it? There could also be a vacuum line off or broken.
