Couple of problems on 2001 Expedition

Hey guys, so my 01 expedition has a couple of problems. First off, the left passenger door is almost non op. I mean that as in it always engages the child lock for some reason andthe window switch only allows the window to go down and not up for some reason. Any ideas or thoughts on why that happens? Also, The drivers doors makes a lot of noise when I drive the car. It sounds as if the door is slightly open, but still locked into place so it wont fully swing open. Last problem is it feels like its being held back. When I give the gas pedal a push, it feels like like parking brake is still on. Its not obviously, Ive made sure of that. Any tips or help would be much appreciated!

Drivers door may need striker plate adjusting if excessive play / movement .Possibly faulty switch or wiring fault , but will require pulling of door trim and checking circuits .Dont know if you can swap with another working switch to test out ? You could get a scan check for engine and see if any codes , otherwise only guessing .Fuel filter o.k ?

Here's where you can find the wiring diagrams to check things out. http://www.autozone.com/autozone/rep...96b43f802e76e8

Thanks for the help! About the whole motor thing, we talked to our mechanic and he said that he couldn't run the diagnostics computer until the check engine light came up. Its been like this for a while who's if it ever will.

The light doesn't have to be on for codes to be present.
