Question Cruise Control

I just bought a 98 an the cruz does not work the fuse is good any help or suggestions?

Check the brake light switch, they are the main reason most cruise controls don't work.

See if the brake lights come on with just bumping the pedal without pushing it down. Also when driving, hold up on the pedal with your foot and see if the cruise control works.
