I've been hunting hard for what may be the problem with the cruise control on my 04 expedition, so far most of the complaints I see and common problems I've found point toward the "speed control deactivation switch". The problem is that I have yet to find anywhere online that will tell me where the thing is located. I have only volume one of the shop manual, as well as the wiring diagrams but not volume two, where all the info about the blasted thing happens to be. Could anyone help me locate it???

Make sure it's not misaligned. It has to be depressed to allow the cruise to work.

Glad I didn't buy the part before testing it, the thing works fine. I saw some write ups on how to test the speed control servo, I'm going to try that next...................
