Before I go nuts and break things or whatever... I'll ask first for advice.

'99 BE Expy. wish to remove all 4 door panels.
Want to get in there with some Rust Bullet to kill / slow the only rust on the rig.
How do they come off and any special tools needed, etc.
I don't want to crack or break anything if possible.

Trim Panel — Front Door, Expedition

Removal
1. Note: Release the top portion first. Remove the sail panel. The one where the mirror is.
2. Remove the window switch plate.
3. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
4. Remove the upper door trim panel screw. Where the sali plate was
5. Remove the door trim panel screw at the window switch plate opening.
6. Remove the door trim panel screw in the courtesy lamp housing.
Remove the courtesy lamp lens. Remove the screw behind the lens.
7. Remove the inside door handle trim cover.
8. Remove the inside door handle. Remove the bolt next to the handle.
9. CAUTION: To avoid damage to the front door trim panel, do not pull directly outward. Lift upward and then outward to remove the front door trim panel.
10. Remove the courtesy lamp and socket.
11. Disconnect the power mirror electrical connector.
The rest are similar.

Once you do one, the others will go fast. Many people pull out and break the tabs. Just have to lift up.
