i can't open my door from the inside, something is damaged or not connected anymore.

before i bought my truck at the dealership, they had to open the door with one of thoese flat "open thru the window" things (don't know what you call those), i guess they messed something up. i wanna fix it myself, because i don't trust this dealership. how do i get my doorpanel off? just pull on it? do;t wanna make it worst.

and by the way...how do i get those ugly scratches out of my window?

thats called a slim jim...i actually just had mine off to tighten some speaker screws...you want to pop out the window control piece and unplug it...then you want to take the plastic trim off of around the door opener...finally there are two screws on the bottom of the back doors...unscrew them and pull up...it'll come right up...on the front i believe there is a screw when you pull the controls piece off...
