I have a few questions regarding some electrical harnesses on the 97 expedition.

Is it possible to replace both of the rear license plate lights, harness and all, without cutting wires? One of my lights had a bulb break inside of it and shorted out the wire, so now I want to replace it. Want to keep it as close as possible to stock.

Same thing with my running board lights. Not sure where the wire is messed up at (Neither side works, and I know that both sides connect into a main harness on the underside of the truck), so I just want to know where that main harness connects to, so I can replace it all together.

The best way would be to go to a Ford dealer and ask. They would see it on a parts blow up. You could also go to a wrecking yard and look at the harness there. Search for an Expedition near you here. Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market
