Front Wheel Barings 2005 Expo

What kind of a job is it to change out the wheel barings on a 05 with front wheel drive? I am not sure it is the baring but it is howling pretty good. Anyone have any insight into this issue?

Never done one on that car but would assume it's a case of brake calliper off and removing hub assembly / stub axle and pressing out bearing .

Re: Front Wheel Barings 2005 Expo

You buy the complete hub assembly and just swap it out (http://www.rockauto.com). The new hub assembly comes with new bearings already installed. It's a pretty easy job if you've ever done a brake job on a vehicle. Only 4 bolts hold the hub on. Here's a link with the how-to on it from another Ford forum: 2003 Expedition: How To Replace Wheel Bearing?? - F150online Forums

The Expedition and Navigator are the same from 2003 forward....
