Hi Folks, I'm joining the clan having bought a '97 Expedition last week.
Looks like I'll be getting my hands dirty almost immediately with a low-speed ABS false-activation problem. I'm guessing it's pretty common from the Google results and tech-tips I'm finding so those sensors will be coming off for a clean up this evening. Still what do you expect with an 8 year old vehicle???

I'm actually genuinely impressed with how long these things seem to last. Even the bad ones I looked at weren't so awful!!!
This is actually my first Ford and it joins a 2002 Liberty and a 1973 Series III Land Rover on the driveway, so I guess I'm in a good position when one of those "which is better" threads kick off... Old Land Rovers are my first love (well I am a Brit...LOL) and this latest Rover came with me from the UK, but I have to admit I'm enjoying the fact that I can haul 8 folks around, in heated comfort, at speeds of over 50 mph, whilst still able to hear the stereo, with this Expedition. Did an airport run yesterday and it was brilliant.
Bye for now.
Cheers
Luke
