Horn Very Weak

I came out to my 2002 Ford Expedition yesterday and found that the horn was stuck and had been blowing for about an hour. Now the sound is almost non-exsistant. What do I do to make it stronger?

Re: Horn Very Weak

Some have an adjustment screw, but best to just R&R.

Re: Horn Very Weak

Remove and replace what? I am VERY weak in the area of my vehicle so you have to walk me through this like I'm a 1st grader :)

Is it the whole horn assembly? Is it a fuse? Is it a switch? It's almost like an air horn that has run out of air. Is that what this is and I just need to replace something like that?

Re: Horn Very Weak

Sorry, yes the actual horn, under the hood, not the horn pad/switch on the steering column. some vehicles have 2 horns, one high tone and one low tone, that sound at the same time. You may need to replace one, or both.
