I have 2000 Ford Explorer XLT with 4.0L Sort. The electric Window mechanism broke in the down position on the front passenger door. I have tried to manually raise the window, but I do not want to force it causing further damage, especially if it is just a shorted switch problem (TBD). The n motor will work going further down from the passenger door, but it no other modes of operation will work.

Any advice on how to raise the window, brut force it or take the inside door panel? if it requires taking off the inside door panel, how do I do that?
