Idling RPM's for 2001 Expedition (Triton) - Ford Forums

Can anyone tell me what are the benchmark RPM's when my 2001 Expedition is idling in neutral/park...Currently it's about 1,350rpm...Is this right?...When in drive or reverse it drops to 1,200rpm.

cilly question... Where you live, is it cold right now?
Does this happen when the truck is already been driven for a while?
I know most cars when temps drop take a moment to warm up so the rpms go up a bit.
I know that was "basic" info but if you could tell us more... we might be able to assist you a little better? possibly...
