I bought a new 2004 EB Expedition. I have had the car into my CT dealership 4 times for a severe leak in the sunroof. Water drips down the rear of the sunroof and through the DVD player. Ford techs tell me this is common with the Expedition and that I should "Not park under trees" so that the leaves don't clog the drains. This is abserd. They tell me that my DVD player in fine(Yeah, in 2 years?) and that no mold is growing in my liner. What are my option s as I can't beleive they can simply send me off with that solution.

I am having this same problem. The dealership told me the hose going to the drip pan was probably clogged. Why is there a drip pan up there? What happens when it gets full? Don't you think there should be a hose running to UNDER or OUTSIDE the car for drainage? Am debating on trading for a no sunroof model or giving them $500 and hoping for the best...Let me know what happens with your vehicle please

there is a drain holes on 4 corners of the sunroof that leades a hose on both sides of the "A" pillers, the dealer may be right there may be debries that got stuck and clog the drains. slide the sunroof open and with a flashlight and a wire coat hanger poke around to loose anything-if you can see it. It may be best to try to a airgun and blow it out-careful dirt and other things will be flying around, might get messy.
Not suprise they don't want any part of it...unless $$$$ is involve.

it's actually more common for the hoses to come off the drains. a small zip tie works wonders
