manufactorer dtc

I have a 2000 ford expedition and I just checked a code that came up this morning on it. It is P1405 and all my rewader says is it is a manufactorer specific DTC. Can anyone tell me what this code is.

Re: manufactorer dtc

DPFE code (Delta Pressure Feedback). Very common failure point on Fords. The sensor detects the change in pressure to confirm that the EGR valve is accurately metering exhaust gas. Some people have had luck drilling out the rivets that hold the sensor together, cleaning the insides and re-riveting. But most replace the valve with the newer style. Make sure you check the hoses for any leaks and check the exhaust ports on the manifold to make sure they're not plugged with carbon.

Where is this located at? Under the hood I assume but can you give me a general location and what it looks like. I would like to replace it myself if possible.

thanks for the help,

I don't have a picture of a genuine ford DPFE, but here's one off the Standard Motor Parts website.
