Navigator Brake Controller Wiring

I have a 99 Navigator. I've been told there is a connector, under the dash, to connect a brake controller for trailer brakes.

Should there be one? If so, where is it? How can I identify it (# of wires, wire colors, etc)?

Thanks

Re: Navigator Brake Controller Wiring

under the driver side towards the center console. its tuck just 1/2 inch back from the edge of the trim. You may need to lay down on the foot well and look up. Its square in shape, that has contacts but only 5 wires are used, red-battery, brown-illumination, white-ground, green-stop lamp, blue-to trailer electric brake. I have a pigtail (Part #F85B 14A348 P260G) that plugs into the other end under the trim as mention.

Re: Navigator Brake Controller Wiring

Thank for the information. I ordered the part. Now all I have to do is match the 5 wires there to the 4 wires on my controller.
