Navigator shake/shutters at stop lights

I have a 2003 Lincoln navigator that shakes at stop lights, intersection, and in park. It seems to get worse when the car warms up. The moment I take my foot of the brake and it starts to move the shaking is gone. I have taken it to the local dealership for a service. Within the past month.

Service done:
Oil change
Transmission service
New spark plugs
#8 cylinder coil changed
New air and fuel filter
New idle control valve
Differential service
Cleaned mass air flow sensor
Cleaned throttle body
Fuel injector cleaned ( by dealership)

All of that as helped a little bit but I am still experiencing the shaking. Please advice.

Sounds like weak spark on a plug or two. Check the plugs, they can tell you a lot.

Ever notice that there's so many high performance parts available for GM products?

Did you ever think that maybe they NEED them?

The dealership ran 2 diagnostics and no codes. They only changed one coil but all of the spark plugs.

If they check the data stream while it's doing that, they should be able to see what it's doing.

Re: Navigator shake/shutters at stop lights

If the dealer looked at it I would assume they ruled out a misfire. Does it do it in neutral or revving in park?

Re: Navigator shake/shutters at stop lights

It does it in neutral but not as bad. There was a coil that was misfiring that is why it was changed when it as serviced along with all the spark plugs. The only service that hasn't been done is flushing the cooling system.

Re: Navigator shake/shutters at stop lights

Well first need to determine if its another misfire or a vibration of some sort. If it goes away while driving it may nit be a miss.
