I recently purchased a 2008 Ford Expedion EL which is not equipped with a stock Sirius Radio receiver. I have Sirius radio, but would like to have a stock one installed. My local Ford dealer has told me that there is an 8 to 10 month wait time to receive one, and I'm wondering if anyone knows of a quicker alternative. Is there somewhere I can purchase an oem Sirius radio that can be installed in my Expedition?

I don't think you have to change the whole headunit. If it's anything like my 07 Yukon was, now I have a 08 Expy, you would just pull the unit and connect the Sirius module to the back of the headunit like I did with my XM module. I don't know exacly where the module is located, but give me time and I can look on mine and see. This is much cheaper than changing the whole unit.

Thanks for your input--I'll look into it. I just really hate to have the seperate Sirius controller cluttering up my console:-)
