Need so help wiring up some interior lights to a 98 Nav - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

Hey im trying to wire some more interior lights into my 1998 Navigator, one on each second row door (to make it similar to the front row doors) and then two on the back hatch facing into the cargo soace and down on the street when the hatch is open. Anybody ever do this or have any tips??? My main problems been just trying to get the interior cover off the back hatch...

good idea...I need to do that also.
Sorry, I have an 06, so not sure if it would be the same, but should be very simular.
the tail gate trim should be held in with multiple metal clips.
I would start from the top trim first or the smaller parts, that way you could see how its
held together. Start from the corner and slowly work your way towards the other side-"it should" pop out. Remove the handles and any screws you see.
LEDs is the way to go.
