need to swap a 4.6 for a 5.4 please help......
I recently decided to spend some cash on my 99 expedition, I am currently installing 2.5 ton military axels and remote transfer case onto the vehicle.My local ford performance shop told me to forget about rebuilding the 4.6 and go for more displacement hince the 5.4.They rcomended buying a complete truck (98-2001) f-150 or expedition that was totalled and had a salvage title.That way i would have all the brackets and wires needed to do the swap.My question is what year models and makes would i be able to use.
Please any help would be appriciated......!
