Hello everybody, I bought a 99 Expedition Eddie Bauer 5.4L and I have lots of questions... (Never bought an SUV before)
Basically, you might call me i***t but the overdrive button is to be used when only towing something?... "Overdrive light is active if the yellow lights comes up right" then I can tow a vehicle?, when is off is when I'm driving in the highway w/out towing anything.
I like the air suspension. I did turned off because I hate the noise when I turn the sUv on in the morning to inflate, so I will use it only when I travel long distances.
I read about towing, I just towed my gf honda accord to another city which was about 2 hours, but I never turned the overdrive on. but let me tell you sometin, it was smooth... if anyone has used the 163 highway from kingman to las vegas, (95 highway), you will know what I am talking about... anyways...
some of the expys have 4.6 other 5.4L ? why? they is the tow capacity???, are expys made for towing?
it also comes with the 4x4 option, lol it's nice but I don't really off road and I don't think expys are for off roading, and I don't even think they even flex enough like a toyota landcruiser.... why they come in 4x4 option and not just 2well drive?
i like it, the eddie bauer edition its nice...
