Hi, I have a 2001 Epedition with the 4.6...I want to do some towing but the overdrive won't work....When I push the overdrive button nothing happens, even the light that says off won't come on...Any Ideas anyone?

Is the check engine light on? Usually if there is a trans problem, a DTC will be set. Have it scanned and post the code/codes here.

Hi, thanks for the reply...No light on, but I got it fixed....The problem was the overdrive switch on the gear shifter....Cost me $207.00 for parts and labor at the local Ford place...
