Oil amount

got the 2002 V8 Triton 4.6 ... dad took it in to get the oil changed and they told him it it took 6 quarts.

first 3 changes were free from dealership so it never came up, then this one dad got charged for 7 quarts... 6 in it and a extra quart was what they charged him to fill it with 5-20. their 19.99 is only for 10-30 or 40

so does the Xped 4.6 take 6 quarts?

i only wonder because we hada 1999 E-150 conversion van before this and it had a 4.6 Triton V8 and it took only 5 quarts.
