The 4.6 had a problem where somechips had gotten between the block, gasket and cylinder head. They'd leak oil at the rear passenger side corner. They didn't leak very bad but did leave drips.
to be honest... the leak looks like its from the passenger side rear ... first it looked like it was a rear main seal leak.. but upon further inspection, the mechanic said the leak was up in the engine bay... i was really worried it might be head gasket leak...
oil leak on passenger side that seems to be up high, but i cant tell where the oil filter is, and if it is coming from that location. the oil seems to be spraying from wherever it is coming from because it only exists on parts on that side of the car.
It is probably the oil filter adapter housing gasket if it is coming from that area.
