chevy=garbage

My grey plastic molding on the side of my wifes expedition is fading and it is turning white. Recall? Defective pieces replaced for free? What should i do?

I am having the same problem with the panels on my doors and noticed a few other cars around town with the same problem. I visited a dealer while still under warranty. They literally looked at the faded panels with a magnifying glass and found a tiny chip in one of the panels and said since it has been damaged it would not be covered. That was on one panel and they would not replace the other three.

There is clearly some sort of defect in the plastic panels as the problem exists on many vehicles. The rear panels still look perfect.
