Question about 2011 Interior Door Handle

Hi, I am doing a little research on interior door locks. My question is regarding a 2010 or 2011 Ford Expedition (or Edge, Escape, Explorer).

When a person is sitting INSIDE the car, and all doors are LOCKED, can I get out of the vehicle with just pulling the interior door handle ONCE? Or is it any of the 4 options below:

- pull plunger on door sill and then pull handle
- flip a manual lock switch and then pull handle
- pull the interior handle twice in a row
- use auto door lock button and then pull handle

Not positive, bit every Ford I've had experience with.... pulling the inside door handle, unlocks and opens the door. Of course THE EXCEPTION would be the rear seating area with the child lock on, this will not unlock or open the door.
