Re: Is remote start standard on 07 Expedition EL Limited?
Check the vehicle for the owners manual. It'll state how the remote start works. Some vehicles, you have to press and/or hold the lock/unlock button for it to activate the remote start feature. I'm not positive on how the Exp remote start works, but if you can't see any 'autostart' button on the key fob - check the manual out. If there is no manual, just play with the remote for a few minutes or better yet, ask the seller.
If you want the remote start feature, I suggest going aftermarket. Aftermarket units are less expensive than dealer installed, and you can get two key-fob kits for as little as $99 plus installation (about an hour).
