Anyone know the procedure to remove the driver's side door panel on a 2000 Navigator?

Thx

Altho I've never done this exact one they are all pretty much the same. You will have to look for some phillips screws that have to be removed. Some you can see and some are hidden behind small trim pieces which must be removed to get to the screws. Once the screws are removed you have to "POP" the panel loose. There is a special tool(thin, flat, long piece of metal) used to slide under the panel to get it loose. You slide the tool between the door panel and the door itself and pry outward. The panel will "POP" free of its' retainers. Once all the retainers are free you can lift the door panel up and off. Don't forget to watch out for the door release handle and the electrical connectors going to the power window switchs and door locks.

eallanboggs is correct about the screws, but DO NOT TRY TO PRY THIS PANEL OFF, you will break it. Once you have the screws removed, lift up on the trim panel, it is kept in place by plastic hooks that are part of the trim panel.

If you need more details on the screws, I can get that info at work tomorrow.
