I started to hear this sound yesterday in my 2008 XLT Expedition. It's more noticeable at startup and it's there even if the A/C is running. This morning when i got in the car there was a funny smell almost like coolant or something. I opened the hood and saw a little splash of whitish fluid over the A/C hoses and a nice 5 inches stain on the inside of the hood. Then, i looked closer and saw fluid on the Spark plugs grooves. What could it be? Is it a bad hose? If so, why would i hear that sound inside the cabinet?

The car has bearly 60K miles..

Checked coolant level ? If low , top up and check for leak . If not obvious leak , possibly heater matrix / core ?

Okay i was driving for about 30 min with the A/C on and when i got out of the car i could smell something coming from the engine compartment. So, i opened the hood and it turned out that the return A/C line was leaking and sort of spraying water!! i think the gas turned to liquid! But, what does this have to do with the gurgling sound i'm hearing?

if youre leaking regrigerant gas, you will have air in the system now. Perhaps what you can hear is the air bubbles gurgling around the system?
