What do you recommend as a low cost diagnostic scanning tool to use on 2012 Ford Expedition & 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis.

Maybe not many members have a scan tool. I have one but it cost $1300 new. There are some cheaper that work, but I haven't checked those units out.
