I actually just answered that in another thread..my friend had the same problem on his 98', after replacing all rotors with slotted and carbon metallic pads, it still felt soft...I'm into mustangs and they have that problem too, so I figured I'd follow up on that suspision...So we replaced the front flexible rubber lines with stainless steel braided ones...that solved the problem...since expys are so heavy, the front brakes are worked alot and heat up alot, the rubber hose starts having some elasticity with time, so when you hit the brake, pressure expands the caliper piston, but also expands the rubber hoses. This is true for most cars, even if your car brakes fine, if you install braided brake hoses, you will feel a mild difference
