Re: started my drop tonight...

ok so i would need
(2) of the part number Bel-4804 for the 3" front drop.
(2) of the part number Bel-5307 for the 2" rear drop.
(2) of the part number Bel-10102I for the Front shocks.
(2) of the part number Bel-2208HB for the Rear shocks.

i have the stock rear air bag suspension. would that complete all i need to do the lowering? is the alignment kit needed? do i need anything to do with those Ford part numbers? and i would also like to purchase from SummitRacing.com. Thanks.

if you go with the 3" front springs you will need the alignment kit. it is 70-something dollars well spent. the Ford part numbers are a rubber bushing that you can probably get by without, but you will pick up some noise from the coil spring against the frame. i would recomend it. again, 40 bucks well spent.

you can also buy 2" drop brackets from BellTech through Summit if you want to keep the air suspension out back... i dont care for it myself.

Re: started my drop tonight...

Ok i'll include the alignment kit in my purchase, also do the Ford part numbers for the rubber bushing you provided work on the summitracing.com webpage? or do i have to get the rubber bushing somewhere else?

and last do you have the part numbers for the 2" drop brackets? this will allow me to keep my rear air suspension and still be 2" lowered with their 2" drop springs right? i'd like to keep my rear air suspension since they're still working, but it depends how much those brackets are. Thanks

Re: started my drop tonight...

nope as far as i know that is a dealer only item (or salvage yard)... HOWEVER, if you buy the drop brackets for the air springs, you wont need those rubber bushings. ONLY if you buy the coil springs.

yes, the drop brackets allow you to keep the rear air springs, but it lowers the truck 2" by moving the mounting location of the air springs... they are cheaper than the coil springs, but i am not sure HOW MUCH cheaper they are... i didnt consider them as an option, and i dont have the part numbers, but the summit rep you get should be able to figure it out.
