Can anyone tell me the best way to handle this situation. The clowns at valvoline stripped my drain plug!, i don't trust them to fix it, so should i get a oversized plug that is self tapping or put in a new pan and everything and charge them for it! any help is appreciated.
A new pan is really the best option. I've always had trouble with the self tapping plugs.

G'day,
I agree, get a new, or at least a good condition used pan. Alternatively, you could drop the pan and weld a nut, with the correct thread for your drain plug, inside the existing drain plug hole, this would be a lot stronger than the existing thread in the oil pan too.
Good luck!
Well from what im getting from you post that just the plus is stripped. There would be no need to buy a new pan I honestly think that the "clowns" at where ever would strip it with out fixing it..
You can get you a Bionic Wrench to take off the stripped nut then but a replacement bolt for like 5 bucks at the dealer
