Throttle Body

How often should the throttle body on my 2011 Ford Expedition be cleaned?

Re: Throttle Body cleaning

Ford recommends not cleaning the throttle body. It's drive by wire and will adapt to adjust for deposits. But I have over the years had to clean a few for driveability concerns when the deposits build beyond the pcm's ability to learn idle position. I would recommend leaving it alone unless a need to clean arises.
