I have a 98 navigator, and i need to get a car from norther georgia to florida.
I would like to know if this would hurt the navigator at all.
The car a will be towing is a 58 starcheif which weighs about 2 tons
I have a trailer, but i herd that if i tow the car that far, it will screw up my transmission and possibly the airbag suspension
Anyone know if it will? Thanks

No it won't hurt it. Make sure to hit the overdrive off button at the end of your column shift arm. If yours has the tow package with the class III/IV hitch then it's a no-brainer. Otherwise there should be a sticker on the drivers side door jam that says what the towing capacity is.
