Vibration in the front Passenger wheel - Ford Forums

We are having a problem with our ou 2003 expedition. Or atleast something similar to some other post I've seen. We are noticing vibration in the front Passenger wheel. The entire truck was vibrating. Also the wheel is getting very hot. I thought it might be a wheel bearing...but it smells alot like brakes....anyone have a clue?

Could be a number of things. The wheel could be off balance, but if you are getting really high heat, the better diagnosis is that the brake on the right side is rubbing causing friction, heat, and the smell of brake dust.

Could be 2 things. Could be signifcantly uneven wear in the brake pads, or the caliper on the right side is sticking.
