Hello all. I'm new here and I have a question for anyone in the know. I am in the market for a Ford Expedition. My wife and I went to a dealership here in Jacksonville, FL to look at a few of them. I have never owned or even driven an SUV in all of my thirty five years, so needless to say I was impressed when I finally took a test drive.(it was an 04) Anyway, the dealer asked me if my job was an X-plan partner. I was clueless to what he was speaking of. We have owned three Fords(89 Escort GT, 93 Probe GT, and 2000 Focus) and had never heard of an X-Plan until last week. How do you go about receiving a pin #? The dealer told me that you don't have to work for Ford to get one. If your job does not participate, and you aren't an employee.... Someone please enlighten me.
