I've got them, the back ones fit fine but the front ones stick out past the guards. Will they still "get me in trouble" if I widen or get the guards rolled.

Im guessing that they probably stick out about half inch or so i wouldnt worry to much about it if you dont drive like a dickhead i think youll be ok

Yeah...almost exactly half an inch. I don't want to risk getting my car in the Regency Park System though (for those from SA), in otherwords defected....because it take forever...and a lot of cash (which I don't really have) to get the defect lifted

Just to confirm... It is illegal for the tires to be wider than the guards isn't it...

Definitely. If the tyres stick out past the guards it stands out a mile away and is really asking for trouble. Even if you got flares to cover them I think the increase in track & wheel width would be illegal (in Vic anyway) - check out the regs. It might look cool but as you say if you get caught the consequences aren't really worth it.

The rims are illegal. Even though you may not get detected, if you have a prang the insurance company will not cover you.

Yeah I figured that too...bit of a bummer

May have to be kinda careful with my driving If I put them on...thing is, I think they would stuff up the speedo too because the tires that are on them are slightly bigger than the ones I have got at the moment
